The first class of the Ithaca Writers Institute, created by the Department of Writing and administered by the Office of Extended Studies, has arrived on the Ithaca College campus.
These fifteen high school students from around the country will be with us from June 30 through July 12, taking creative writing workshops and craft classes taught by Writing faculty, with help from Writing majors who double as Teaching Assistants and Resident Advisors. If you see the students on campus--perhaps near Boothroyd Residence Hall, where they are staying; at an activity with the Summer College for High School Students; or at visiting writer events at the Handwerker Gallery--please welcome them to IC!
