Steve Seidman, professor emeritus and lecturer in the Department of Strategic Communication, has written an article, which appears in the Fall 2013 issue of the Phi Kappa Phi Forum. The theme of the issue is "Funny Business," and Dr. Seidman's piece is titled "U.S. Presidential Campaign Slogans: In Other Word …," and it deals with the manipulation of American voters through catchphrases, giving examples from 1800 through 2012.

The Phi Kappa Phi Forum is a quarterly magazine published by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.
