Uncommon Schools starts and manages outstanding urban charter public schools that close the achievement gap and prepare low-income students to graduate from college. They are recruiting teachers (all levels) for schools in Boston, NYC, Newark, Rochester (NY) & Troy (NY).
Uncommon Schools prefers to select teachers from undergraduate or graduate level teacher certification programs. However, they have the flexibility to hire strong candidates from programs without certification tracts and provide 400 hours of professional development training to all employees.
