New York State Department of Labor WAGE THEFT PREVENTION ACT - Notice of Requirements for Compliance
Each year in January, the College is required by law to provide all employees (staff, administration, faculty, and students), notice of pay rate and pay day information as outlined under section 195.1 of the New York state Labor Law.
The required notice provides:
You will receive your notice electronically through your email account. It is important that you reply to this email notification to formally acknowledge receipt of the notice.
Copies of the notices and the electronic acknowledgements will be kept on file for the required six years.
The notices have been prepared in English and in the event your primary language is not English, please identify in your email response (acknowledgement) your primary language and a new notice will be issued.
If any of the information on the notice is unclear or incorrect, please notify Human Resources at 607-274-8000 or you may visit the Office of Human Resources located in the Peggy Ryan Williams Center, Garden Level.
