On Tuesday, March 18th at 8pm in Emerson Suites, IC Student Volunteers for Special Olympics presents Flame the Band with opening act, The Danbees.
Flame will be back for the third time to help Ithaca College "Spread the Word to End the Word"!
Tickets are $5, or $4 with a Senior Card and available at the door!
Proceeds will go to Ithaca Special Olympics!
Spread the Word to End the Word is a movement which advocates ending the use of the "r-word" in every day language due to its offensive nature.
Flame the Band is a world-renowned group of musicians who have been featured on Good Morning America and People Magazine. Every member of the band has a physical disability, intellectual disability, or both; however, they are certainly not defined by them.
This will be Flame's third time performing at Ithaca College, as we pledge to spread the word to end the word! We hope to see you there for a night of live music, dancing, and a lot of fun!
Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact Rachel Snyder at firstname.lastname@example.org. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible.
