On Monday May 26th, Enrique Gonzalez-Conty presented a paper titled “Inconsolable Memories: Miguel Coyula's Reconstruction of Cuban Cinema" at the Caribbean Studies Association Annual Conference in Merida, Mexico.

The conference gathered scholars working on the Creole, English, French and Spanish Caribbean to present on the theme: “Mixing without Combining”?: Re/thinking Pluralist “Environments” in the Caribbean and its Diasporas.​
