As a faculty member at Ithaca College, he has taught undergraduate and graduate music education courses, supervised junior and senior level student teachers, and conducted various instrumental music ensembles. In addition, he serves as co-conductor of the Ithaca Concert Band (a community ensemble). He is active throughout the country as a clinician, adjudicator and consultant, and a Presser Scholar.  He is recently published in Update: Applications of Research in Music Education , School Music News, Reverberations, and Journal of Music Therapy.

Construction on Ithaca College's new athletics and events center was formally kicked off on Tuesday, June 16. Members of the Ithaca College Board of Trustees and the Athletics and Events Center National Committee, donors, coaches, student-athletes, and staff and faculty gathered near the future site of the center for the groundbreaking ceremony. Another 100 guests who couldn't attend in person were invited to watch the event via a live webcast.
