The last class for the spring 2007 semester will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2007 in Williams Hall 323 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
If students need to drive College-owned or leased/rented vehicles for your department, including the summertime, and have not yet taken the mandatory driver safety class, please have them attend. An interdisciplinary team comprised of current and former IC faculty has published a special 35-page dossier on the Within Our Gates archival film and live music project at Ithaca College in the The Moving Image: The Journal of the Association of Moving Image Archivists, the international journal for film historians, theorists, and archivists.

Filmmaker, journalist, and blogger Danny Schechter will visit Ithaca College on Tuesday, April 24 to screen and discuss his newest film, “In Debt We Trust: American before the Bubble Bursts.” The free event will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Park Hall Auditorium.

Kevin Murphy, Robert Ryan professor of the humanities, will present a lecture, “The Irish Political Elegy: William Butler Yeats and Seamus Heaney,” on Tuesday, April 17, at 4pm in the Handwerker Gallery. This is the culmination of work Professor Murphy has undertaken since being named Robert Ryan Professor in 2004. The lecture is free and open to the public.
