The Occupational and Physical Therapy Clinic, located in the Center for Health Sciences, will begin offering limited physical therapy services for infants and young children with neurodevelopmental problems, starting March 20, 2008.

Project Look Sharp, a media literacy initiative under the Division of Interdisciplinary and International Studies, has been awarded a grant from Robert Schumann for $12,500 to update two of its multimedia curriculum kits: "Media Construction of Presidential Campaigns" (to include the 2008 election) and "Media Construction of the Middle East."

John Krout, director of the Gerontology Institute, and Peggy McKernan, research analyst with the Office of Institutional Research and a former institute employee, recently learned that one of their papers was honored by the Association for Gerontology in Higher Education (AGHE). The David A. Peterson Award winners were announced at the organization's annual conference which was held in Baltimore in February.

Faculty, staff, and students who have not already done so are strongly encouraged to sign up for the College's Emergency Notification System (ENS) prior to the test of the system that will take place during the noon hour this Thursday, March 6. The ENS uses voice, e-mail, and text messaging to provide time-sensitive information and details on appropriate responses during critical situations.
