Best-selling young-adult fantasy author Tamora Pierce will be appearing on campus on Monday, April 30, to read from her latest published work, followed by a Q&A session and book-signing. The Kulmusik Contemporary Chamber Ensemble at the Ithaca College School of Music will present a free concert on Tuesday, April 10 at 8:15 pm in the Hockett Family Recital Hall. Under the artistic direction of Sally Lamb, the program features works by contemporary composers Stephen Hartke, John Harbison, Paul Rudy and Robert Pierzak.

Assistant professor of anthropology David Turkon was an invited participant in a roundtable discussion on the challenges, difficulties, and potentials of international collaborative research at the 67th annual meetings of the Society for Applied Anthropology in Tampa, Florida.
