Ithaca College remains open through the rest of Monday, Feb. 2, with all classes and scheduled events taking place unless otherwise announced. As a reminder to the campus community, college officials closely monitor the weather forecast and consult with local law enforcement agencies and other local employers, as needed, to determine whether a delayed opening or complete closing may be necessary. As per the Ithaca College Policy Manual, weather conditions normally will not close the college when classes are in session.

Please join me on Thursday, February 5, 2015 for the first Faculty Colloquium for the spring semester.
Dr. Patrick McKeon, PhD, ATC, CSCS is an Assistant Professor within the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences and the Clinical Education Coordinator of the Athletic Training Education Program, will be presenting “Bridging the Gap between Clinical Practice and Research.”
Dr. McKeon received his B.S degree in Athletic Training from Springfield College (1997), his M.S. degree in Sports Health Care from the Arizona School of Health Sciences (2001), and his PhD in Sports Medicine from the University of Virginia (2007). His research interests include the exploration of sensorimotor alterations associated with lower extremity injury and rehabilitation.

Due to the bad weather, the LV/IC Shuttle will not run today, Monday, February 2nd. It will resume its normal hours of operation on Tuesday, February 3rd.

A test of the Ithaca College Emergency Notification System (ENS) will take place during the noon hour this Thursday, Feb. 5. It will include a test of the Outdoor Warning System, which features a siren tone and a loudspeaker message. There is no need to take any action in response to the tests.

On days that classes are in session there is a shuttle that provides transportation between Longview and the College in the morning, with stops at the Center for Health Sciences and Textor. This shuttle is available to members of both the Longview and Ithaca College Communities.

For the 25th anniversary of Educational Technology Day at Ithaca College we are sponsoring a contest for Ithaca College students to help envision the future of technology. Circulate the love this February 6th from 9 to 5 pm in the Fitness Center . Please call 1-800-RED-CROSS or go to REDCROSSBLOOD.ORG to sign up for an appointment at Ithaca College. You can also stop by our table in CAMPUS CENTER, Monday thru Thursday from 9 to 3pm and choose a time slot to donate blood and help save a life. We will be taking Double Red Donations too, 3 appoinmtent on the hour and 2 appointmets on the half hour.

ACE, the Ithaca College portal that provides access to Parnassus, Argus, Homer, IC Workflow and Advance, has been experiencing intermittent connectivity issues.
