Dear Ithaca College Community,

After serving the School of Health Sciences and Human Performance for nearly ten years, Associate Dean Patricia Green has announced that she will retire from Ithaca College. Her last day will be Friday, July 19, 2013.  In the near future, Pat will relocate to Austin, TX to be closer to her family and friends.

Lawrence Doebler, professor of performance studies and director of choral activities at the School of Music, will be retiring at the end of the semester after 35 years with Ithaca College.

To celebrate Mr. Doebler's time here, the School of Music will hold a reception in his honor on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the in TC Lounge on the 14th floor of the East Tower (formerly the Tower Club).

As was noted in an October Intercom, Ken Kutler, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreational Sports, announced his retirement. Although Ken is not officially retiring until the end of June, a celebration in his honor is planned for Friday, April 26, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the VIP room of the Athletics and Events Center.

The School of Business would like to congratulate Ayana Richardson on her new position as assistant dean of undergraduate programs for Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Ayana’s last day at Ithaca College will be Friday, January 11th.

Ayana joined the School of Business as assistant dean of student services in May 2009 and has been an incredibly valued member of the Business School staff.

Please join us as we celebrate Ayana’s time at IC and wish her success in her new position. A farewell reception/luncheon will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 11:30am-1:00pm in the 2nd floor atrium of Park Center.
