The Department of Physical Therapy (PT) recently experienced the departure of three faculty members. At the end of May, Dr. Deborah Nawoczenski and Dr. Ernest Nalette retired, and Dr. Karen Nolan pursued her career at another institution.

Diane Kinne, Ithaca College's Teacher Certification Officer, has announced her upcoming retirement. Diane's service to the College has been outstanding, and friends and colleagues who would like to express their farewells and celebrate her retirement are invited to drop in at an informal reception for her in the Education Department's conference room (194 Phillips Hall) Monday, June 23, anytime from noon to 2:00.

As many of you know, Mary Tomaselli will soon be ending her time here at Ithaca College as Director of Employee and Organizational Development.

Mary has helped many of us here to navigate and lead transitions effectively in our work lives, and now it is time for a transition of her own.  Her presence, guidance, encouragement, and care will surely be missed.

 After over 30 years of service to the College in several roles Marian will become the first Director of the Wells Institute of Sustainability and the Environment at Wells College in Aurora, NY beginning June 3.

Lawrence Doebler, professor of performance studies and director of choral activities at the School of Music, will be retiring at the end of the semester after 35 years with Ithaca College.

To celebrate Mr. Doebler's time here, the School of Music will hold a reception in his honor on Friday, May 3, 2013 from 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. in the in TC Lounge on the 14th floor of the East Tower (formerly the Tower Club).
