If you have a dependent between the ages of 19 and 25 who is a full time student but did not receive Dependent Tuition Remission or a Cash Award for the 2014-2015 academic year, please complete a dependent/contact update form and attach documentation that verifies this information (a printed schedule, tuition bill etc.). In order for your dependent to continue coverage for the dental, vision & hearing care, dependent life, and AD&D,  FT student status must be verified prior to August 31st.

The staff and administration Annual Salary Review process will officially open on Monday, June 16, 2014.  This year, department supervisors will have a five-week period to make recommendations for salary adjustments with the process closing on July 18, 2014.  Prior to the official opening, department supervisors will receive detailed information regarding the annual salary review process along with guidelines for awarding salary increases and instructions for accessing the online process.  The new salaries will become effective with the first pay period in August. The actual check dates will be August 16th for both those paid on a semi-monthly basis and for those paid on a bi-weekly basis.

Robin Davis (Assistant Director Employee Benefits & Work/Life), Katie Sack (Employee Benefits & Work/Life Administrator) and Mark Coldren (AVP of HR), along with Heather Vanca (Wellness Program Manager from eni), presented at the CUPA-HR (College and University Professional Association for Human Resources) National Conference in Las Vegas on October 28, 2013.

The presentation examined IC’s unique Mind, Body, Me wellness program model and how it incorporates existing services into a comprehensive, holistic wellness initiative that invests in employees and provides them with an opportunity to take a greater role in optimizing their health, well-being and job satisfaction. In addition, it detailed how HR leverages student employment and internship opportunities to enhance the student learning experience.

This Campus Carnival, scheduled to take place Thursday, May 22, 2014, from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm on the Campus Center Quad, has been moved indoors to the Glazer Arena of the A&E Center.

Any appointments scheduled previously will proceed as planned.

The summer hours program will begin Friday, May 23, 2014, and continue through August 8, 2014. During this period, full-time employees will work two fewer hours (37-1/2 hours reduced to 35-1/2, 40 hours reduced to 38 hours) and receive their usual compensation.
