Come join the IC Animal Rights club on March 24th at 6pm in Textor 102 for a lovely presentation by the amazing Kathy Stevens ( founder of the animal sanctuary) The name of her presentation is " Why go Vegan"and it's going to a great time! Don't feel like you need to be vegan or have to even consider going vegan if you come to the lecture! It's open for all kinds of life styles, but it will be an amazing learning experience!

Come out to Colleges Against Cancer - Ithaca College's 2014 Relay for Life! The event is Academy Awards themed. We'll have food, performances, games and more. Of course, we'll also have luminarias, vigils + hope for the future.

To register for #ICRelay14, go to www.relayforlife.org/ithacacollegeny. You can sign up until the day of the event!

Entry fee is currently $20.

Finalized performers and food sponsors will be announced closer to the date of the event. Keep checking back for new information!

This year we are recognizing student organizations for their work and dedication to the campus. We are asking students, staff and faculty to submit nominations for Outstanding Adviser of the Year, Outstanding Executive Board Member of the Year and Best Program of the Year. To nominate, please submit the Student Organization Nomination Form and the Program of the Year Application found on IC Link and the OSEMA website by March 28, 2014.    We would like to invite you to celebrate your strength and inspire others by joining Colleges Against Cancer at Relay for Life of Ithaca College, an Academy Awards-themed event in partnership with the American Cancer Society. The events will kick off Saturday, March 29 at 2 p.m. in the Ithaca College A&E Center.

Before Relay starts, we would like to invite you to participate in our Survivor Reception at 1 p.m. in the VIP Room located in the A&E Center. Please bring along a loved-one, family member, or friend to the reception. The Survivor Reception is a perfect time to connect with others over food and drink before our Relay for Life begins.

Registered for Relay for Life but haven't raised any money yet? We have a challenge for you! Raise $20 by tonight and receive two Relay Bucks at the event. Relay Bucks can be used to purchase food and other items at Relay all night long. They are the only currency accepted during the event and can be purchased at the door for $1 each otherwise.

Relay for Life of Ithaca College is Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the Athletics and Events Center.

The IC Greens are inviting all other Socially/Politically-oriented student organizations at Ithaca College to join them for a meeting where different events and ideas can be discussed, and all the political/social organizations can come together to work collectively.

This meeting will be held on Sunday, March 30th, 2014, at 3pm in the Taughannock Falls Room on the top floor of the Campus Center.

Rachel Briggs, a member of the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance, will be coming to IC to speak to students about preservation and conservation efforts in Utah, and the importance of preservation around the world. The presentation will be on Monday, March 17th, at 7pm in Textor 102.
