Best of all, you'll help Active Minds raise funds for important mental health advocacy work we do throughout the year.

Love Halloween? Come carve out your past at Jack O' Lantern Jive with IC After Dark on Friday October 28th from 8-11 pm in IC Square! There will be pumpkin carving, mummy wraps and donut strings!

And the fun doesn't stop there! There will also be a costume contest, performances from DJ Washburn and free food and candy. 

This nostalgic Halloween extravaganza will be sure to remind you of those fun Halloween parties of your childhood!

 

The Office of International Programs and the IC International Club are very excited about the upcoming 2016 International Education Week (IEW) from October 31–November 4! This week-long international festival features a whole set of exciting events and we look forward to seeing you there!

We are currently accepting submissions for our annual International Photo Exhibition Contest. Bring us your best photos (they must be your own photos/photos you took yourself). This contest is open to both international and domestic students. Students can submit photos they took at home, in the U.S. or from any other study abroad experiences (if you did any).

Tonight, Wednesday October 25th, the Colleges Against Cancer club will be hosting an event in IC Square from 5pm-7pm.

Feel free to stop by for performances by Ithacappella, Pitch Please, and Pulse Hip Hop.

There will also be a mummy-wrapping contest and donut on a string! Raffles will also be going on throughout the night for some awesome prizes!

Join Active Minds at IC in a discussion about mental health related stigma, especially as it relates to the Halloween season. Wednesday, 7pm in Williams 219.

How should we feel about stereotypes in movies and costumes about 'homicidal maniacs' and horror stories set in mental health asylums?

Different opinions are OK and everybody is welcome to join the discussion: do you have any problematic Halloween faves?

Books Thru Bars has a book mailing coming up! We will read letter from prisoners, pick out, and package books. Join us at 10am – 1pm on Saturday October 22, 2016 in Taughannock Falls Room (on the 3rd floor of campus center, to the left of the SAC).

If you have never been to a book mailing before, this would be a great event to come to! We have many letters and free bagels for everyone! IC BTB is a community service organization that sends books to prisoners throughout NY state and the country. We want to promote literacy rights despite people’s circumstances.
