What's IR?
 
The primary function of the Office of Institutional Research at Ithaca College is to provide accurate and timely information in support of the College. Some of the activities for which we are responsible are:

The production of quantitative and qualitative analyses in support of senior level
decision making and accreditation reviews
*
 
The collection and analysis of institutional performance indicators in light of external
benchmarks
* The gathering of all college institutional assessment information
*
 
The gathering and/or coordination of data for routine compliance reporting to external
agencies (e.g., New York State Education Department, Federal Government, NCAA)
*
 
The gathering and/or coordination of institutional data responses to college guidance
publications and other external requests
*
 
The development and employment of standardized definitions for college-wide data
collection and cross unit comparative analyses
