Lion, Macintosh 10.7, was released in Summer 2011 and had many problems associated with Active Directory, Novell and Oracle Calendar. Some of those problems still persist so ITS has not been installing Lion on college owned computers. Some of these problems have been fixed with a patch that was released in October 2011. But, the majority of college owned Macs are using OS 10.5 or OS 10.6. All initial migration processes have been developed for those operating systems. We are working on the migration processes for Lion and will migrate those machines after the rest of campus has been migrated.
