System Migration

As a major component of NSrA, ITS will be migrating all of the campus data systems (servers) to the new network. These systems and services will immediately benefit from the enhanced performance and security features of the new network. A phased approach to the migration of systems, services and infrastructure to the new network is planned.

Objectives

This aims and objectives of this project include:

• A phased migration of applications, servers and services to the new network
• Reduced unplanned outages

Schedule

ITS, in consultation with information and application owners, will develop a plan to migrate systems, applications and services. As much as possible this plan will account for "black-out" dates as specified by the information and application owners.
