Services and Rates

The SCRC can help with a variety of computer diagnostic, repair and installation services on personally-owned computers. Estimates will be given before any repairs are performed. The SCRC will not service any Ithaca College owned computers.

Payment

  • Students - All repairs will be charged to the student's bursar account.
  • Faculty and Staff - All repair charges are subject to New York state sales tax and will be paid through the Ithaca College Bookstore via cash, check, credit card, or ID Express.

  • Computer Check Up: Free
  • Cleaning: $25.00
  • Tune-Up: $25.00
  • Diagnostics: $50.00
  • Infection Removal Service: $95.00

Installation Services

  • Software Installation: $25.00
  • Device Installation: $20.00*
  • Memory Install: $25.00
  • Operating System Install: $50.00
  • Data Back-Up: $50.00
  • Data Migration: $50.00

Miscellaneous Services

  • 1/2 Hour Misc. Labor: $25.00
  • 1 Hour Misc. Labor: $50.00

*Certain models require extensive disassembly and may incur additional service charges.

The SCRC is an authorized service provider for Apple computers and can perform non-warranty service on all other computer brands. Please see the manufacturers' website for details on battery warranty information.
