Terms of Service

  1. Ithaca College, the SCRC and its employees are not responsible for data loss, data corruption or the inability to access files.
  2. It is the computer owner's responsibility to back up any data, software, or files stored on the computer or removable media, prior to receiving service from the SCRC.
  3. The SCRC reserves the right to decline any service request.
  4. For students, once a service has been performed by the SCRC, service charges will be billed directly to the student’s bursar account.
  5. For faculty and staff, once a service has been performed, the faculty or staff member will first obtain an invoice from the SCRC, then visit the Bookstore to pay by cash, check, credit card, or ID Express, then return to the SCRC with a paid receipt to pick up the computer.
  6. SCRC labor charges are non-refundable.
  7. All labor performed by the SCRC has a fourteen day limited in-house warranty. Warranty excludes infection removal service.
  8. The SCRC is not responsible for computers or accessories left thirty days after the completion of service.
  9. Inappropriate material that violates state or federal law will be turned over to campus police.
  10. Students under eighteen years of age require permission from a parent or guardian to receive service from the SCRC.
  11. The SCRC reserves the right to alter the terms of service, rates and promotions without prior notice.
