Lab Procedure Videos
Client: Terri Hoppenrath

Terri Hoppenrath, Clinical Assistant Professor and Clinic Director in the Department of Physical Therapy (PT) uses video to help prepare students for complex lab exercises. These clips provide a rich context for students to learn terminology and common PT procedures. Terri has taken existing video developed by the PT Department over the years, and provided her own voice-over. Re-using existing video is a great way to expand upon successful, older video projects.

Terri has also used video consisting primarily of photos. For example, each step in a lab procedure is photographed from three perspectives: wide, medium and close up. These three photos are montaged together as Terri provides an instructional voice-over. This approach allows for a faster turnaround, higher quality imagery and smaller file sizes.
