How do I get my course on the Web?

There are a few ways to get your course content on the Web.

The easiest way is to use Online Courseware, a user-friendly interface that allows you link any digital document (Word, PowerPoint, jpeg) to the site. Your site is viewable only by those at Ithaca College (unless you choose to enroll a guest). You can enroll all your students at one time and communicate with them via email or transferring files.

In order to get a Online Courseware account you will need to attend a class or make other arrangements, in order to become familiar with its capabilities. The Account Request form can be found at the ACCS Main Office, Muller 102. Online Courseware classes are held at the beginning of the semester and the schedule is on our website.

As another option, you can create your own web site and place your course information there. To learn how to create a web site, you can attend HTML and Dreamweaver workshops. These tools enable you to create your own site. You will also need to fill out a Personal Account Request form to set up a web account. This form is available in the Main Office, Muller 102.

ACCS Workshop Schedule

If you have specific questions about your site, you can stop by the Technology Learning Center(TLC) in Friends 101 or the Center for Educational Technology (CET) in Muller 104. Drop-In hours (one-on-one consulting) are available in both locations.
