IC Adopts Turning Technologies NXT as Clicker Fall 2012
The eInstruction PRS student response system is being phased out by the vendor so ITS and a faculty advisory group selected the Turning Technology NXT system. For more information see, Recommendation to Adopt Turning Technologies NXT as Ithaca College’s Centrally Supported Student Response System. For more information check out our Clickers support page.
Faculty Show and Share Series in the CET
Faculty Show and Share is an informal discussion series in the Center for Educational Technology. Each session will feature a guest faculty member who shows how they've used a particular technology to address a learning goal. Minimal preparation is required because you just have to show, share, and discuss what you've done. Any instructor is encouraged to attend whether or not they are experienced with technology or not. There will be ample time for discussion of the teaching goals and/or the technology. We had 10 sessions during the 11-12 school year. Please contact Marilyn if you would like to share.
Turnitin
Turnitin is now available for use within Sakai or through Turnitin.com. Please see the ITS Turnitin Plagiarism Detection page for more information. See Turnitin Academy Live for web conferencing sessions developed and taught by a college professor and Tii power user.
