Technology Learning Center

The Technology Learning Center (TLC) provides instructor-led workshops, closed workshops, one on one training, drop-in consulting services, online tutorials, and technical documentation.  The TLC Trainer team collaborates to provide the Ithaca College user community with a comprehensive set of training and documentation services to support the most popular application areas, such as:​

TLC Services

​Instructor-led Workshops ►Please drop-in for training

We provide workshops, covering a wide variety of applications, that are available to all Ithaca College staff, faculty, and students.  These workshops are provided free of charge in Friends Hall 101 on a daily basis while class is in session. 

One to One Training ►Please drop-in for training

Please submit a request if you would like to work with a TLC Training Specialist in a one-on-one session.  These sessions are scheduled as 30 or 60 minute appointments during standard TLC hours.  We will work with you to schedule time with a trainer who specializes in the area you are interested in.

Group Workshops ►Please drop-in for training

Please submit a request if you would like us to provide training for your group. We offer closed group workshops by request on any of our standard topics.  These workshop are generally provided in our lab (Friends Hall 101).

Drop-in Consulting 

TLC Trainers are available in the TLC (101 Friends Hall) from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday to provide faculty, staff, and students with drop-in consulting assistance on supported computer applications, such as Sakai, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook), Taskstream, Web Profile Manager, Adobe Products (Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Photoshop), and other technology topics.
