Photoshop is a powerful image-editing application from Adobe. This workshop will cover the basics of the program, including discussion on the work areas, various tools available, layers, and the transform functions.

Photoshop: Creating Graphics

The prerequisite (or equivalent experience) for this workshop is "Photoshop: Introduction." This workshop will show you how to create graphics from scratch in Photoshop so you can incorporate them into your publishing projects online or in print. Topics included are: resolution and image size, file types and sharing, selection tools, and media production. Those who attend will walk away with a finished product after they directly apply their skills to produce a poster during the workshop.
