Note that the 24-hour recipient limit has increased from 1500 recipients (Live@edu) to 10,000 recipients (Office 365) so many people may now be able to use their regular email account instead of the Mailing App.
The Ithaca College Mailing App is a web-based tool for sending email messages to a large list of Ithaca College recipients. Regular email accounts have Microsoft Office 365 sending limits of 500 recipients per message and 10,000 recipients per 24-hour period. The Mailing App can only be used by faculty and staff and requires an account, which uses the Netpass username and password for login. It allows personalized, html messages to be sent to Ithaca College email addresses ONLY. Note that this tool does not replace the processes used by HR and the Registrar for sending email messages to all faculty and staff, or to all students.
