The Language Center, located in room 316 Gannett Library, is the language learning support facility maintained by the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures. It is open to all faculty, staff, and students who wish to develop their language skills. The primary users are students who are enrolled in one of the five languages taught by the department (Spanish, Italian, German, Hebrew, and French), Latin students, theater students practicing dialects, and speech and language pathology students studying phonetics. The Center is staffed by a Language Center Director and multi-lingual student assistants.
