Zapatistas a model for 'networked learning'
When I was in school, I realized that most social science research was done far from people actually affected by it. In my search for other approaches, I became involved in Action Research, research by and with people affected by the knowledge. Because I believe all knowledge is created collectively, I do research with others. The research I do — we do — is public sociology and focuses on social movements and social change. I especially enjoy involving students in this research. read more
