Documentary and Discussion on war on drugs in Colombia

Ithaca College students Laura Murray and Abby Paulson will sponsor a documentary screening and discussion, Leaving La Floresta, on Thursday, December 8, 2011, at 7:00 pm in Textor 102.  One of the film directors, Dan Roge, will present the documentary and participate in a subsequent discussion.

The film and discussion will center on how the US 'war on drugs' has caused hardship for millions of Colombians who have lost their livelihoods and homes in this battle. Discussion will also address solutions to these problems.
