  • Standard directory of advertisers (Classified ed.). Issued also in a Geographical ed. Useful in determining what agency or agencies represent a particular company or product(s). Searchable by S.I.C. code, etc. REF HF5805 .S7.
  • O'Dwyer's directory of corporate communications. Gives information about internal company communications/public relations departments. REF HD59 .O35
  • O'Dwyer's directory of public relations firms ,. Directory of public relations firms and their clients. One can also determine the public relations firm(s) for various companies. REF HM 263 O37

Rate Sources

These are sources which wil give advertising rate information.

  • Standard Rate & Data Service. Consumer magazine and farm publication rates and data Breaks magazines into subject categories and gives information on subscription costs, readership, advertising rates, etc. REF HF5905 .S725.
  • Standard Rate & Data Service (SRDS) Newspapers REF HF5905 .S72.
  • Standard Rate & Data Service (SRDS) Radio markets edition REF HF5905 .S74.
  • Standard Rate & Data Service (SRDS).Television & cable source. Profiles TV and cable markets for various cities, also gives demographic information as well as stations, major newspapers and radio stations. REF HF 5905 S745.

You can search by specific authors or titles or you can do keyword and subject searching. Some specific subjects you can use to begin your search are below. Finding Articles (Online)

Available via the IC library home page using the "Electronic Research & Reference" link. Individual journal articles and papers are not listed in the library catalog and searching for relevant articles can be time consuming. Use databases which search for journal articles, conference proceedings, papers and book reviews. The IC Library does not own all the journals indexed in databases, for assistance identifying where a specific journal may be indexed and/or available in full text call the Reference Desk (274-3890) or go to Serials Solutions.
