Fine Appeal Form

The fine appeal form can be filled out when there is a discrepancy involving a Library overdue fine, fee or due date. All patrons receive a date due receipt at the time of check out. It is the patron's responsibility to keep the receipt in a safe place. This information can also be reviewed at anytime via the patron option in the Library catalog). As a courtesy, faculty, administrators, staff, and students will be sent a reminder e-mail to their Ithaca College account one week prior to the due date containing a list of books and scores checked out to them. Losing a date due receipt, or not checking e-mail, is not cause for waiving fines. Fees billed to the bursar, or sent for collection, are non-refundable.

If an item you believe you have recently returned still appears on your Library account, but you have not been fined for it, please submit a Not on Shelf form and the Library will search for it.
