Mac Permission Repair Instructions

  1. Navigate to the "Applications" folder
  2. Within the "Applications" folder, there should be a folder labeled "Utilities." Open the "Utilities" folder.
  3. In the "Utilities" folder, navigate to "Disk Utility" and double click to launch the application.
  4. Wait for the computer gather disk information; when complete, your hard disk should show up in the column on the left. Click on the hard disk -.this should bring up a screen, with tabs at the top labeled "First Aid," "Erase," "RAID," and "Restore" You should already be on the default tab, "First Aid."
  5. On the bottom left of the "First Aid" window, click the "Repair Disk Permissions" button.
  6. Wait for the program to complete, then re-attempted to install the ebrary plugin
