Dorm & Off-Campus Access to Electronic Resources

Off-campus access to online journals, indexes and databases is available to Ithaca College faculty, staff and currently enrolled students. You must first have your Ithaca College email accounts enabled in to order to access this service. Electronic resources are available 24 hours/day with the exception of 3:00 a.m.- 4:30 a.m.

To access the e-resources, enter your Ithaca College email username and password below in the appropriate boxes when prompted. Electronic resources may be accessed from the Databases and Electronic Resources web page.

Enabling your email account

  • Students must activate their IC email accounts online at: http://www.ithaca.edu/passwords
  • Faculty and staff must apply for and obtain an email account by completing an application form in Muller 102.

If you have forgotten your password or are having trouble accessing your account, please contact the ITS Help Desk at (607) 274-3282.

Special instructions

  • Your browser must be set to accept cookies. Many of the databases will not let you in if your browser refuses cookies.
  • You cannot bookmark database access pages or results from most databases; you must link to them each time through the proxy server to verify that you are a member of the licensed community of users.
  • Your response time from off-campus may not be as fast as on-campus response times.
