Ask a Librarian

I. In Person

If you have a reference or research question or are puzzled about something in the Library, our best advice is to ask a reference librarian in person. Stop by the reference desk any time on the main floor of the Library.

II. By Phone

Call 274-3890 to speak to the Reference Librarian on duty at the Reference Desk.

Research Consultation

If you need help with a particularly difficult assignment that you think will take a little more time, you may contact any of the librarians who are responsible for special subject areas. You can drop by the library to make an appointment or call the Reference Desk, 274-3890.

III. By Email

If you can't get to the Library, you can email your question using the form below. This service is limited to members of the Ithaca College community. We will try to answer (or at least respond to) e-mail questions within 24 hours. If you submit your question over the weekend, the response may take longer.
