J.J. Staff Scholar Award 

Established through contributions from staff, faculty, and friends of James J. Whalen,

Ithaca College's 6th president, in honor of his 22 years of service to Ithaca College.

Criteria:

Awarded to a full-time staff member, receiving tuition remission, who is matriculated. This award is seen as an incentive for staff to become matriculated. Candidates must have completed at least 60 credits toward graduation and have a current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The award is up to $500 per semester.
