December 1 - The Intergenerational Choir performs the Holiday concert!

Tuesday, December 1st in Hockett Family Recital Hall, join the members of the Intergenerational Choir, a choral group comprised of residents of Longview Senior Living Center and Ithaca College Students, and featuring for this performance, the Children's Choir; with conductor Professor Jennifer Haywood for a concert performance!

 

Positive Aging Conference: Wave of the Future  December 7-9, 2009

Dr. John Krout, Director of the Gerontology Institute at Ithaca College, will give a presentation on Creativity and Aging at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida, in a highly interactive gathering of national leaders in the field of aging.  Recognized experts in the field of aging will lead plenary sessions and concurrent workshops, discussions, demonstrations, and experiential activities in four general theme areas: Life Transitions, Creativity Wellness and Community.

Under those general themes, leaders and attendees will explore sub-themes including lifelong learning, intergenerational learning, spirituality and religion, technology, diversity, public policy, international developments, life planning, civic engagement, encore careers, and others.
