Martha Bowers Residency

Senior residents of Longview and Ithaca College students worked on a creative dance project with Martha Bowers, nationally recognized choreographer/ director and producer of large scale community events and site-specific productions that engage culturally diverse communities in dialogue about socio-political issues. The Bowers residency looked at issues of creativity and aging, funded by a grant from the Linden Center for Creativity and Aging at the Gerontology Institute, Ithaca College. Bowers met with modern dance students as well as Longview residents.
