Community Chorus-
Linden Center for Creativity & Aging 2009 Community Arts Grants, supporting the advancement and study of public creativity & aging programming, funded the Community Chorus led by Baruch Whitehead, a professor of music from Ithaca  College.

Intergenerational Choir
The Linden Center is pleased to support the Intergenerational Choir, a cooperative ensemble comprised of both IC students (of any major) and the older adult residents of Longview, an Ithacare Community. Each Tuesday from 7-8pm, students meet at Longview to sing with residents.

This year, Dr. Jennifer Haywood and Melanie Wade will be leading the ensemble along with student leaders from throughout the school of music professional fraternities and beyond.  Any person interested in joining the choir should contact Melanie at mwade1@ithaca.edu or call 274-1628.

Enduring Masters
The Linden Center has provided support for the Enduring Masters program, a $150,000 grant awarded to the Gerontology Institute and the School of Music by the New York State Music Fund, established by the New York Attorney General and Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. This project, now completed, has been amazingly successful having supported 19 Enduring Master's concerts. The list of performers included Billy Taylor, Karel Husa, Joan Tower, Chico Hamilton, Dick Hyman, Daniel Binelli, and William Bolcom, accompanied by Joan Morris. Visit the Enduring Masters website for more details.

Voices for Creative Aging
Voices organized outreach between Ithaca College student ensembles and sponsored concerts featuring community musicians and under-represented music. Some 22 student concerts and 12 performances by local musicians were held.
