Web Development

Our web marketing group is a key element on the College's web team; they work closely with the web group in Information Technology Services and with the web group in the Office of Admission. Together they are responsible for the College's home page, top-level ("primary") site, and recruitment sites, and they work closely with top administrative and academic units to market and manage those sites.

In 2006 the College's combined web teams redesigned the College's primary and academic websites, developed and implemented an infrastructure for dynamic content management, and expanded the Web Profile Manager (WPM) for the Ithaca community to manage their own web content. Since then they have introduced more useful tools for individuals and departments to use in managing their websites; migrated many new sites into WPM or a second system, LCMS; redesigned all of the sites in the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Life; and greatly expanded the social media opportunities and capabilities of the College.
