Applicants must submit an official high school transcript and recommendation,
a transcript of any college course work, and the results of the Scholastic Assessment
Test (SAT I) or the American College Testing (ACT) program. Applications, which
are available from the College's Office of admission, should be submitted as early
in the senior year as possible. Applicants should send in their completed application
materials to the Ithaca College Office of Admission no later than 2 weeks prior
to their scheduled audition. The deadline for receipt of completed applications
is 1 February. Our modified rolling admission policy means that applicants are
notified of the admission decision status as soon as possible after all admission materials are
received and the audition completed, usually within 5–7 weeks, but at the latest by April 15.
In addition, all music applicants should contact the School of Music directly
Dianne Zamoiski (607-274-3366)
to register for an audition or to have the audition registration card sent
to them. Once they have registered for an audition, they will be asked to complete
the following for the School of Music's admission office:
(1) A student
data form (sent to you with confirmation of your audition date); and (2)
your music teacher's recommendation (included with School of Music Date
Form). Registration
for an audition must occur a minimum of two weeks prior to the intended date.
