Minor Instruments are used in conjunction with the secondary instrument classes. Instruments can be checked out from Mr. Blakely, room 1210.

Instrument Sign-Out Various “specialty” instruments that students often do not own are available for student use in college ensembles. Instruments can be checked out through Mr. Blakely upon the written recommendation of the student’s major performance professor. All school-owned instruments must be returned at the end of each semester. Students are not allowed to use school-owned instruments in non-college related ensembles (e.g., jazz combos that perform in local clubs).

Locker Sign-Out  Lockers in the J.J. Whalen Center for Music are signed out through Mr. Blakely, room 1210, during the first week of fall classes. Music majors are eligible to sign out a wall locker on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students are reminded that these lockers are the property of the College and should not be defaced in any way.

Recital posters may be posted on student lockers and general bulletin boards.  They should not be posted on glass, doors, or painted surfaces, and should be removed once the event is past.  While the school celebrates the creativity shown on recital posters, students should bear in mind that visitors of all ages pass through the Whalen Center. Posters in prohibited locations or with inappropriate content are subject to removal.
