Student & Alumni Highlights

Edward (E.J.) Swider ('09) is a finalist for the bass trombone position with the Chicago Civic Orchestra. Finals will be held in Chicago on April 12, 2011. While at Ithaca, E.J. studied with Dr. Hal Reynolds and Adjunct Instructor Jeff Gray. Since graduating from Ithaca E.J. has been pursuing his master of music degree at the University of Colorado in Boulder, studying with Dr. Bill Stanley.  He recently returned to campus to teach a master class for the trombone studio.
