Ensembles

Every student is required to take part in at least one ensemble each semester; many participate in more than one because there are so many interesting and challenging opportunities available. There are 24 ensembles, including

Touring

In addition to giving on-campus performances, several ensembles tour annually. These ensembles have won critical acclaim for their work in New York at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall and St. Patrick's Cathedral; in Boston; in Washington, D.C., at the National Cathedral; and throughout New York State and New England. The Ithaca College Symphony Orchestra, Choir, Jazz Ensemble, and Wind Ensemble have been featured at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall, the Ithaca College Choir and Wind Ensemble have performed at Symphony Space in New York City, and the choir and orchestra have played at Carnegie Hall.Our choir and chamber orchestra recently performed week-long tours of Ireland, performing at the National Concert Hall in Dublin and in many histroic churches in Galway, Cork, and Limerick. Other selected ensembles and chamber music groups have performed off campus as part of the touring program.
