The Ithaca College Choir, conducted by Lawrence Doebler, was on the road again this March. The tour will feature works by Frank Martin, Francis Poulenc, Antonio Lotti, Vincent Persichetti, Josef Rheinberger, Carol Barnett, Sally Lamb McCune, Robert Fountain and Moses Hogan. The tour performances in each city were open to all, including Ithaca College alumni and local students in the area.
The final tour stop will be in Ford Hall this Saturday, March 24th at 8:15pm. If you can't be there, the performance will be web streamed live at www.ithaca.edu/music/live
Clarinets for Conservation is proud to present Ithaca College alumnus Michele Von Haugg and Scott Horsington in a lecture-recital on Thursday, March 29th at 8:15pm. The concert will be held in the Nabenhauer Recital Room, 3322 Whalen Center, Ithaca College School of Music. Admission is free, but donations are graciously accepted.
Underwater Tiger, a Horseheads-based alternative rock band comprised of two sets of brothers, including current Ithaca College Sound Recording Technology student Nate Miner, was recently featured in the Elmira Star Gazette following the release of the band's album. They will officially release the album "Where Miles Become Meaning" during a CD release party March 24 at Brady's Pub in Elmira.
