ITHACA, NY — Ithaca College’s annual Rachel S. Thaler Concert Pianist Series will bring eminent pianist Ingrid Fliter to campus for a free concert on Thursday, Oct. 29. Brad Hougham will present a free recital at 7 pm on Monday, October 19 in the Hockett Family Recital Hall. He will be joined by pianist Diane Birr for a program including Mahler's Rückert Lieder, Gerald Finzi's "Let Us Garlands Bring," Histoire naturelles by Maurice Ravel, and other works.
A fall tradition, the annual Ithaca College School of Music Choral Collage will take place at 3:00 on Sunday, October 11 in Ford Hall. Lawrence Doebler, Janet Galván, and Lauri Robinson-Keegan will conduct the free concert featuring the Choir, Madrigal Singers, Chorus, Women’s Chorale, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble.
