The School of Music offers several programs to younger musicians who wish to develop their musical skills.
School-Year Programs

Students in grades 7-12 are invited to enter the solo and concerto competitions. Prizes include cash awards and a $16,000 Ithaca College scholarship. |
Summer Programs

Offering a residential pre-college experience with a rich offering of music & nonmusic courses taught by IC faculty and top music educators. |

The Summer Piano Institute at Ithaca College is a comprehensive, 10-day program of intensive study for talented young pianists ages 12 through 18. |

Ithaca College Suzuki Institutes The longest-running such program in the Northeast that offers study in the philosophy and teachings of celebrated Japanese pedagogue Shinichi Suzuki. |
