Summer Music Academy faculty consist of current Ithaca College faculty, top music educators from across the country, and renowned guest artists. Additional faculty and guest artists will be announced periodically.

Natasha Colkett is a freelance performer and violin teacher in the Denver area. She graduated with her Master’s in Violin Performance from the University of Denver in 2010, where she studied with Linda Wang and served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and Violin Performance from Ithaca College in 2007, where she studied with Susan Waterbury.
Natasha currently performs as the Assistant Concertmaster in the Fort Collins Symphony, Principal Second Violin in the Cheyenne Symphony, Section Violin in the Boulder Philharmonic and Steamboat Symphony, and as a substitute for the Opera Colorado Orchestra. She recently won a position in the first violin section of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and will begin performing there in the fall. She acted as the Principal Second Violin for the Denver Philharmonic from 2008 – 2012. Natasha is also an active chamber musician, performing recently with the Cheyenne Chamber Players and Sphere Ensemble.
Alongside her busy performance schedule, Natasha enjoys teaching students of all ages, levels, and backgrounds.
Natasha has always loved summer music festivals, and has attended The Quartet Program at SUNY Fredonia, the Adriatic Chamber Music Festival in Bonefro, Italy, the Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory in Steamboat Springs, CO, and has been both a student and a counselor at Music at Port Milford in Ontario, Canada.
