Lincoln Center, April 2008
On April 15, 2008, the Ithaca College Symphony Orchestra and Ithaca College Choral Union performed in Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall. The orchestra kicked off the evening with a stirring performance of Johannes Brahms' "Tragic" Overture, conducted by Jeffery Meyer. The Brahms piece was followed by the featured piece: Giuseppe Verdi's magnificent "Requiem," performed by the orchestra and choral union, and conducted by Lawrence Doebler with chorus master Janet Galvan.
