I’m Matt Modrowski, the lead developer for myHome at Ithaca and recent IC grad. For the past year I have been meticulously tapping away at the keyboard (in six inches of snow, uphill, both ways), building the foundation for the great site you all know as myHome. It’s been a long process of meetings and mockups and testing and developing, but I’m so proud of the result.
A little more than a month has passed since we released the first public version and it makes me all warm and tingly inside to know that so many of you have adopted it as your web home. What’s exciting though is that this is just the first step – this is only a starter home. Sure it keeps you warm and dry, but wouldn’t it be nice to have just a little more space and maybe some updated appliances? From new and updated portlets to extended tab availability and interaction, we have some incredible stuff planned for myHome’s future. What’s even more exciting is that some of this is coming in just a few short weeks.
Keep your eyes on this blog for more updates.
